Thanks to the Water Filtration Plants program, Sewa Foundation has:

Provided access to safe, purified drinking water for many individuals, families, and communities who previously relied on unsafe sources.
Helped reduce the incidence of water‑borne diseases in communities where the filtration plants are installed, contributing to better overall health and well‑being.
Improved quality of life by ensuring that children in schools, and families in communities, have reliable access to clean water — supporting education, hygiene, and daily living.
Promoted social equity by offering a basic necessity (clean water) to underserved, marginalized, or disadvantaged populations who might otherwise be excluded from safe water access.
Laid down the foundation for sustainable water access — not just temporary relief — by building infrastructure, ensuring maintenance, and fostering community trust.

Looking ahead, our aspirations for the Water Filtration Plants program are to:

Expand coverage — install more filtration plants across underserved and remote communities to ensure that “clean water for all” becomes a reality.
Reach more vulnerable families, children, schools, and communities, ensuring no one is left without access to safe water.
Maintain high standards of water quality — regularly monitor, service, and upgrade filtration systems to ensure sustained safety and performance.
Foster awareness about safe drinking water and hygiene practices in communities — encouraging responsible water use and sanitation.
Build long-term sustainability — making sure that once a plant is installed, it remains functional, accessible, and managed for years to come, so communities benefit for generations.
Promote dignity, health, and equal opportunity by guaranteeing access to water — a fundamental human necessity — regardless of economic or social background.
